Am I the only one having problems resolving the dns at iago.dnsalias.com ? More than 50% of the time I click a link on the forums to another x86labs.org:81/forum/* page, I end up with a DNS unresolved.  For some reason, I'm timing out a lot connecting to Google too!

It hasn't been giving me any problems.

It's been fine here.

It's JavaOp.com that's up and down.  Right now, it's up :)

Didn't you say you were timing out when resolving Google, deadly?  That should be evidence enough. ;)

Well, JavaOp.com's DNS server has been down due to some DDoS'ing.  Not much they can do, really.

Deadly, try setting your DNS servers to 4.2.2.1 and 4.2.2.2 by going to your control panel -> Network Connections -> right click on the correct connection. Under the "General" tab, in the little listview they have, highlight Internet Proctcol (TCP/IP) and select properties. At the bottom, select "Use the following DNS server addresses," and enter in 4.2.2.1 for the top, and 4.2.2.2 for the bottom. See if that fixes it.

That's good advice.  I've used various DNS servers from 4.2.2.1 to 4.2.2.6 and they've never let me down.

Sidoh

Haha, that slipped my mind.  I've done that before a few times too.

They are 4.2.2.1 and 4.2.2.2.  Also, I didn't need directions to do that. :(
