Well, I plan on doing a total computer build in roughly 8months with the release of vista, (mind you, I plan to for the first time in my life purchase a legal copy of windows, I'm not quite sure that'll happen though.) but for now I've spent $50 on WoW and I'd like to play it. What video card would you guys suggest for me, also, what ram?

On a side note, I'm looking to spend under $175ish (USD) on the video card, and am looking to buy 512x2 RAM.

See if the price of the 7950 GX2 goes down anytime soon ^^. Or just get some Nvidia 7 series card.

If you can find one (maybe on Ebay) get a GeForce 6800 GT.  It's never let me down.  I run WoW at 1600x1200 with high LOD.
