...as Creative's new firmware for the Zen disables FM recording.

Sure, it never says anything about the RIAA, but who the hell cares if you can record FM recording?

The RIAA. That's who! They're the only people desperate enough to make a case out of nothing.

I'd bet that you're currently bloated like a water ballon on a hot summer's day.

That analogy doesn't even make sense.  Why would a water balloon be especially bloated on a hot summer's day? For your sake, I hope there wasn't too much logic testing on your LSAT.

My Creative Zen Micro is still safe.  Hurrah!  :)

The once grove of splendor,
Aforetime crowned by lilac and lily,
Lay now forevermore slender;
And all winds that liven
Silhouette a lone existence;
A leafless oak grasping at eternity.

They have no influence in Canada!

Apparently, when recording industry people (dunno if it's the RIAA or whatever) tried to sue people in Canada and Australia, they were taken to court and charges were dismissed due to total lack of credible evidence.  Since that happened, they haven't had any influence in either country :)
