Mouse gesters rule!  I'm actually considering giving FireFox another try.  iago, you'd mentioned that there was an addon for mouse gestues for firefox, correct?  That's probably one of the things I'd miss most about opera if I did start using firefox again.

Yes, there are at least two addons that do mouse gestures.  I don't know which, if any, support FireFox 2.0 yet.

What is a mouse gester?

Are you talking about the Zorro extension thing, where you can make gestures* with your mouse, and it does things? Now _that_ is a neat plugin. :D

Not upgrading for a tad bit, don't like things breaking. I was forced to upgrade to Gaim beta, and all hell broke loose. Not going through that again.

Cool.  I'll have to check into it. :)

Google Toolbar (pretty much) made Firefox have a built in spell checker.  I sort of suspect that it is/was more functional and accurate than the one that comes with firefox now as well.  The way it did spell checking was awesome.  That's one of the things I miss about IE/Firefox... google toolbar was awesome.

In Opera, you hold your right mouse button down after clicking in some arbitrary place on the page and drag it in a specific direction or series of directions.  From that, the browser performs some action which is assigned in the same way the rest of the controls are set up.  For example, left is back, right is next, down is new tab, down and then up is duplicate current tab, etc.  There was also one that closed the current tab, which got me into some trouble a while back.  It's since been disabled, though. :)

How customizable was that again... that sounds really awesome... ?  :)

For Opera?  Here's a screenshot of the options menu with a "gesture" filter applied.

If you're talking about the FireFox Addon, then my bad.

The FireFox mg plugin I used was entirely configurable.

FireFox2 is no longer beta.  I've been using it since the first RC, and nothing serious has broken.

What happened with Gaim beta?  I've been using the Gaim2 alphas and betas pretty much since the came out, and I've had minimal problems.  I hope you reported whatever went wrong, that's the point of open betas :P

Just to clear things up, I wasn't saying it wasn't. :P

Edit: I just installed the FF extension for mouse gestures.  It's very configureable!  Even moreso than Opera, but it's also more than I need it to be.  Even still, it'll be nice to stop pointlessly right clicking.

I got Mouse Gestures and I love it (right now), thanks!  :)
