uhm, sorta missing having the more clear display of XP :(  I guess my video card sucks?

also, I miss my programs, but I'll get all of that taken care of once I get my disc and make sure that I've installed the full version.

Havent played around much yet, but it is looking promising...nothing I would go out and buy right now...but since it is "free", COOL!

You keep getting yourself into these holes.

If Microsoft doesn't break away from backwards compatibility people complain, if they do people complain as well.

WDDM was finalized with ample time for the driver developers to write new drivers for it. If they fuck up, then it is not Microsoft's fault. It is the fault of the driver vendor, thus they are the one you should cry to.

downloaded vista upgrade, nvidia upgrade, hp upgrades, & other misc upgrades and now everything works as it did in XP.

no more weird "display driver error" crap, my "auxiliary" hp launch buttons function as stock, hell yeah

edit:
it updated sound too, I had to go disable that cause it was fux0ring up everything

SHIP ON APRIL 6TH!?....damn people.

& only 32bit, lame.  I might just go buy a 64bit upgrade disc & do it that way, this 30day trial expires in 26 days, maybe I can find that "timer crack" that allows it to just keep running
