But really, nice two stories houses are not really middle class here.  Two story joints that are just slapped together are middle class, but not decent ones like that picture shows.

That room alone looks like it is half the size my house. Obviously you can't tell from the picture, but the look of the room leads me to believe it is quite large (high ceilings, large windows, glass doors, etc).

yeah people at my school are rich as fuck. people drive nice BMW's some drive mercadies. and there is a sophomore that drives one of the newer lexus'. there is even a guy in my class that has his own house. but the house i went to was pretty big.

Basically, if you live around here, you make considerable amounts of money. If people took the $ they made here and lived in Texas, they could afford mansions.

(No lie, moderately-sized homes go for $1M easy. My stepmom's house, which isn't very big at all, was selling for close to $1.3 million.)

My parents were/are not well off in the least bit.  Doing decent now, but 4 years ago wasn't fun .  Yay for betterness.





Newby, people in CA sell their shitty houses for $600k and move here and buy pretty freakin decent houses for $300k (and those are even over priced).  The biggest house I've seen around here went for under $2m.
