Urban Exploration!
« on: February 18, 2011, 12:13:51 am »
So, today I did an event that basically amounted to a scavenger hunt throughout a large indoor complex. It was amazing - we got to visit crawlspaces, roofs, construction areas, disused portions of buildings, and a lot of other amazing stuff. Very cool!

I'm a total coward, though, I was constantly afraid of getting caught/in trouble. I know the heads of both the physical and IT security there, so getting caught would have been especially interesting. :)

It was really cool, though, and I hope to do it again. Being places and seeing things that you aren't intended to see... priceless!

This is my favourite (note the flashlight in my pocket):

I also like this one because of how x-files-ey it is:

Brilliant demotivational posters.

I like the last one, the guy on the left looks retarded with the way the photo caught him in half stride, only adding to the slogan.

I was going to respond, but I couldn't figure out which picture / side he was talking about. There are three pictures, and left/right can mean either way (depending if he meant by the cameraman's perspective or ours), so I eventually gave up :)

Clarification the last picture, the guy on iag's far LEFT and the guy on the cameraman's far RIGHT.  In other words the last picture, the only guy with facial hair and with flailing arms.

Although, now that you mention it, iago's expression in the last picture does look pretty goofy.

Heh, that's the one I suspected. I agree. :)

I look stupid in most of the pictures. I love it. :)

Did you lose a ton of weight, Ron? *shrug*
I'd personally do as Joe suggests

You might be right about that, Joe.

Dunno about a "ton", but in the last few years I've definitely lost something. I've never owned a scale (till like a week ago), but I'm pretty sure I remember being about 260 - 265lbs at some point in the past, and right now I'm sitting at about 220lbs.
