If I see an officer speeding without his lights on, I usually follow them at about the same speed.  What are they going to do? slow down, get behind me, and then pull me over for doing the same thing they were?

they aren't above the law, but they dont have to have their lights on to let people know that they are on call.

unTactical, I think technically (in our state) they could pull you over for that...but since they're probably just speeding & not on call they wont do it

Yeah. I think everyones fine, it was a pretty bad accident. I had trouble getting to them due to all the traffic it caused (it was on a very busy road.)

Edit: My dad just talked to the witness. Apparently, the bread truck hit the hummer which hit us. Then the hummer bounced back and I guess the bread truck was still moving and the hummer hit us again.

lol. I parked INTO a pole today (speaking of shitty drivers...)

The car = completely unharmed. The pole = bent at a 35 degree angle or so. Pwned!

That's my pwnage of the government for the year. Now those motherfuckers have to replace the pole. That's what they get for taxing my paycheck.

That's interesting.  On a semi-related side note, a friend of mine hit a mailbox and completely obliterated.  She is now on probation until she turns 18 and had to do massive amounts of community service on top of replacing the mailbox.
