I moved to Michigan and work as an Senior Online Systems Programmer for the video game studio S2Games.  I work in a high-uptime, several hundred thousand concurrent user, codebase.  Fun fun.
I remember back when I used to play HoN a lot :)

Not to interrupt you guys or anything, but I found that tmux literally transformed my life with shell productivity. I can argue that I am more productive with this than I am with an IDE, but I won't. I can't remember the last time I used an IDE. :(
Sounds a lot like screen.

Isn't IntelliJ for Java only? Or is it extendable like Eclipse? As far as C/C++ IDEs I find that Visual Studio and Qt Creator are the best. Eclipse with C++ plugin on the other hand blows.

Well efficiency and productivity is relative. What you consider efficient might not be the same for someone else. During an internship a few years back I was on a team where my mentor who was like 60 something used vi for coding, yes fucking vi. I asked him why not use an IDE or at least some kind of GUI text editor. He had me sit down with him for a few hours and watch him code. And holy shit was I amazed by how quickly he could navigate around, find stuff, and churn out code. He pretty much knows all of vi's commands by heart and both hands stayed on the keyboard the entire time, no need to move one hand off and use the mouse to navigate.

At that point I realized he was probably just as productive using vi than I was using eclipse, there would be no point in him switching to eclipse or me switching to vi. You simply work with whatever you're most comfortable with, which might be different from someone else but doesn't make it any more or less productive.

I've done 2 apps for Android, one for a research project and another for work.

The research project one was for a Smart Shoe project which allowed for real time graphical monitoring of foot pressure for diabetic patients at risk of developing ulcers.

The work one was an interface to monitor a patient's glucose levels over time and keep track of statistics.

Both apps utilized Bluetooth for communication.

I'm not sure about the CS side of things but for ECE majors if you want anything to do with hardware design you need at least a masters. After I graduated with my BS the only job offers I got were programming jobs which I wasn't interested in. Now that I'm taking grad level classes I can see why, undergrad classes only teach the basics and don't go into any detail. Most circuit design jobs require you to understand things such as timing modelling/analysis, floorplanning, routing, and verification. None of which are taught in undergrad classes.

The job market for PhDs for ECE's are also very specialized, companies like Intel, IBM, Qualcomm, and TI are basically looking for people who has worked on research in an area they are interested in, not just someone who knows a little of everything. A PhD student in my research group who is currently interning with Intel worked on things like stability assurance and design optimization of large power delivery networks with multiple on-chip voltage regulators. I still have no clue what that is but then again I haven't done 3 years of PhD.

If you want to be a software developer then I agree grad school is a complete waste of time, the work experience is much more valuable. But for low level design stuff an undergrad is just not enough.

I just finished my last semester in an M.S. program last month. I don't have the patience to continue. I'm tired of not making decent money.
Nice congrats! I assume you are now working? Did you find that there were more opportunities for M.S, than B.S.? And how do the salaries compare?

I'm in my 2nd semester of an M.S. right now so just curious.

I just cleared A2 Inferno with my barb. The difficulty increase from A1 Inferno to A2 is huge! In A1 I can lure 3 elite groups to the warden and kill them all at the same time and solo down the butcher standing in the fire, but in A2 there are elites with certain affixes that are deadly that I have to skip, and the normal mobs hit so much harder.

Here's my stats which I believe is the minimum needed by a barb to clear A2 Inferno:
50k hp,
900 resist all
10k armor,
10k dps

"Irregrettable" is not a word so I suggest you spend the money you would be investing in a masters of CS into some English lessons
