Pretty crazy that we're closer to 2030, than we are 2005. Where did the time go!

The first thing is, what kind of game style do you like?

Dungeon?  Open-ended missions?  Wide/totally open?
Assassination? Robbery?  Heroic?  Evil?

And what kind of party?  Lawful Good or Chaotic Evil?  We've had parties that spent most of their time robbing people, and there's nothing wrong with that.  We've also had a party who were like holy crusaders.  So it can go either way.

Do you want like mission based, where you find somebody who is looking to hire a group of adventurers?  Or do you just want to look at a map and decide what to do?  Or do you want to find/make your own missions ("let's rob that church")?

Give me some idea of what type of game you'd all like.

Within the quest we can do totally evil stuff, like killing and such. We can do stuff in secrecy so that we look really really good, but we kick lots and lots of ass.

I'd bet that you're currently bloated like a water ballon on a hot summer's day.

That analogy doesn't even make sense.  Why would a water balloon be especially bloated on a hot summer's day? For your sake, I hope there wasn't too much logic testing on your LSAT.

I don't mind much, but I agree with newby on the open-ended missions.  I also prefer futuristic situations compared to medieval ones.

iago

Well, at least for now, I'm planning on doing fantasy, which is basically medieval.  If this works very well, I'll consider running Shadowrun this way.  But Shadowrun is +++harder to run, so that might not work out.

Hitmen

easier is good for now!

Yeah, that sounds good, but since we have some people new to this concept, lets go easy in the begining. :)

That's why I said we can.

i.e. we can get a reward for rescuing a person, and then demand a better reward, and even kill them and take more money :D

That's what I do in everything. I get the reward, and ask for more. I then demand more, and kill+take if I don't get what I want.

I'm what I guess you could say, neutral evil. :)

Plus, adding in backstabbing && evil stuff helps teach people the structure of the game a lot quicker.

Eh, chaotic good would be more like "HE COMMIT THE CRIME, HE GET HIS HEAD CHOPPED OFF" whereas neutral evil does it for himself. "I did your fucking quest, give me some more fucking money or I'll tell them I found a kilo of heroin in your house, and you'll get arrested!"
