Dude, yeah.  It rocked with intensity.
8.3/10

Plot: everyone died, zombies, will smith must survive + Shelby GT500 ;)!

iago

Better or worse than Omega Man?

CrAz3D

Omega Man?
Never saw it (I think)

Lol, just looked it up.  Haven't seen it.
But it isn't exactly the same.  It doesn't have to do with bio weapons.

Well, Omega Man was based on the book I Am Legend.  Not sure if you read that or not...

I've heard from a few people that this movie was awesome.  I'd love to see it, but I'm not sure I'll get the chance to over break... :(

The back story to this movie hitting theaters just keep getting more intense.
Was I Am Legend(book) about bio weapons or a cancer curing virus?

See it man, it's pretty intense.  Don't take a kid ... I hate people who f'ing take kids to crazy-scary movies  >:(

Towelie

The movie was slow at parts, and the end sucked. Other than that great movie.

Neither, it seems.  I haven't read the book.

Quote... Neville is apparently the only survivor of an apocalypse caused by a pandemic of bacteria, the symptoms of which are very similar to vampirism.

CrAz3D

Hmm, interesting.

Towlie, the ending was definitely unexpected ... I wouldn't say sucked

Hrm, that description reminds me of an old movie called "The last man on earth".
And like a fool I believed myself, and thought I was somebody else...

I heard the I Am Legend movie was based, at least somewhat, off of The Last Man on Earth.

Heh, well, I hope it doesn't end like The Last Man on Earth.  It was sooo bad it was funny.  :P

Was the Last Man on Earth an old, black and white one? Where the guy spends all day fighting zombie vampires, then ends up finding a bunch of intelligent ones that are pissed off because he's been killing their families? That was pretty funny, if that's the right movie. :)

Yeah, that's the one.  :)  It was decent all up to the last 10 minutes.

All I remember was a big chase scene then he died. That wasn't so bad, although I'm not a huge fan of chase scenes. I guess it could have been a lot better. :)

(incidentally, yes, that's a spoiler (assuming I'm right).. however, the movie's been out for 44 years, so I'm not too worried about ruining it)

[spoilers!]
Haha, yeah.  I generally don't like the chase scenes either, but the script had flaws and the girl didn't try at all to save him.
