So I was at this party last night, and it was obvious that the guy wasn't going to offer us a beer so my friend and I go up to the convenient store and decide to try Corona. That stuff is DISGUSTING! It's easier to tolerate than say natty light, but it still tastes bad. It has way too much foam too. Maybe it's a good thing since I had to drive home and couldn't get drunk anyway, but wow. I didn't have it with lime, I hear that makes it better slightly. But it's gross, so I advise against it. Don't fall for the hype.

Though girls seem to like it, I gave one to this pretty hot girl I met last night.

Corona is the bomb-diggity.  Lime & salt brings out the flavor a bit more, yeah, but I'm usually too lazy to do so.

Give AmberBock a shot...its dark, and the last bit in the bottle isnt great...nbut overall its good

Yeah, it was a dance at my school, too.  The only thing different about it was the fact that the girls would ask the guys out.  I was just happy I had the excuse of being exhausted not to go most time (the conference meet for swimming was always that Saturday). I think I went to this particular dance once, and I regret the damn thing.  'Twas a waste of money.

No, Corona is disgusting. It went down smoother than some other beers I've had, but the taste made me feel like I was going to throw up. I even tried to chug it but that didn't work due to the bottle. I need to find a beer that I can actually enjoy the taste of, as I've only enjoyed beer one time - and I was already drunk. I might give this AmberBock a shot, I don't know. Is there a really strong Hop taste? What does it taste like?

My friend is getting his ID soon so we'll be able to try more stuff.

I haven't had dark beer so I don't know what the difference is really. My beer experience is limited, and includes: Budweiser, Bud light, Budweiser Select, Natty light, natty ice, Coors light (I think), and Corona. None of those, in my mind, tasted good.

Dark beer is usually taken from the bottom of the vat. Assuming it is unstirred for a time before production.

I don't like Corona (I remember it being OK while I was drinking it but with an horrible lasting aftertaste), and I like Budweiser even less (the aftertaste wasn't quite as bad, but it just tasted cheap and crummy overall). 

I'd recommend Granville Island Honey Lager (the best tasting beer I've had), as well as Stella Artois, Heineken, Alexander Keith's, Warsteiner, and Clausteiner (think I've misspelled the last one).

Also, aren't you quite underage?  How do you "go to a convenience store" to buy beer? Just wait around for someone who will do it for you?  How long does that take, in general?
