So I went to classes today, also.  I had one class I was expecting to have tomorrow and another class that was being taught by someone other than whom I expected.  OH well.  I now have 150 pages of reading for friday :-\

It's just a guess, but the quotation below could have something to do with deadly's comment. Also, drug use among HSC students doesn't really seem to phase you. IIRC, you vehemently defended your school's honor code and said cops don't need to be on your campus policing drug use.

I love college so much.

Two nights ago a kid on my hall got alcohol poisoning down at the Kappa Alpha house, then he fell and hit his head and had to go to the hospital.   He ended up being fine though, but KA is on 2 week probation for having a freshman at their house before Rush. The police and firefighters and paramedics were in our dorm that night though. My RA is really cool too as long as you don't like carry a can of beer around or are obvious. I walked into the bathroom with a can and he made me dump it out, but later I had 2 beers out of a Nalgene while sitting there talking to him in a dorm and he didn't say anything.

I met a bunch of sophmores who are friends with my RA last night and got an invite down to the Kappa Sigma house so I'm looking forward to that. Then 5 carloads of girls rolled up onto campus, from a nearby girls school. They came after their yearly lecture about how guys here rape women and "do you want to sleep on my futon" means "do you want to have sex?" and stuff. Whatever. One girl ended up going to the hospital though I don't know why, my exgf was telling me she heard it. Then early this morning I was outside and a guy tried doing a bell run (tradition here when after you get laid you run naked to our bell (we use a manual bell to end classes) and ring it and run back.) He was unsuccessful because he is not "Fucking Shack, it's 10 feet high."

Funny stuff goes on here, but class starts tomorrow. We have a football scrimmage Friday though and Marshall Tucker Band is playing our welcome back concert so that's sweet.

My roommate and I don't really get along though. He's a complete douche. More on that later.

So you take pride in posting about your illegal activities such as smoking pot and drinking alcohol... yet you can't take a joke when people comment on how "gentlemanly" it is. Frankly, you can't have both.. either act like an immature youngin, breaking the law and doing harmful things to yourself, or you can be an adult and not brag online to people about how your awesome life is filled with sex and booze and drugs.

And before you attempt to save face by personally attacking me, I'm at least willing to admit I enjoy acting like an immature youngin at times. I have never considered myself an "upper-class gentleman", perhaps that's why I'm not considered a snob and a jerk.

So looking at what classes I've taken, after this semester I need 7 courses to finish my degrees and then a fair number of electives to graduate.

2 courses for GOVT major (one is research and the other is comparative politics)
2 courses for Law & Society supplementary major (probably constitutional law and Law & Society)
2 courses for PHIL minor (no idea what to take)
1 Viewing a Wider World Class (a class outside of our college.  It will be brewing history & science ;))

Then I have like 20 hrs of electives to take :rolleyes:

After this semester I have only 34 hours left.  So like 3 SLOW semesters or 2 decent semesters and graduate next December.
