The football game [Solved]

James bets Ron $1337 that he can predict the score of the football game before it starts. Ron agrees. The game starts.

Four hours later, James walks away with $1337 more.

How is this possible?

The score is always 0-0 before the game starts. My grandpa used to tell this one to me when I was little.
