You can't say "you have 9 pigs" and then say "you can have more than 9 pigs"

No, I said that the pens add up to more than 9, not that there are more than 9 pigs. Why don't you ask for the answer before calling my riddle stupid, seeing as how you clearly aren't making any effort to solve it.
