You might be right about that, Joe.

Obviously.

He wrote a for loop that would iterate 500 times, producing the text "I will not throw paper airplanes in class." 500 times.

And rofl joe, that was great hehe.

Mythix

I was remember when that was in the comics on our local paper, <3 foxtrot

I knew that much, there's just no catchline, math teachers wouldn't know C++, much less what it is. I'm probably just too literal about things like this, such as those WoW jokes your guildmates tell. -_-

Actually, it's a requirement for Math teachers to have taken a programming class because it represents a lot of algorithmic approach to problems, which is a very useful trait in mathematics.

It hasn't always been that way, so a lot of the older Math teachers (ones who went to college before programming was used in large, for example) generally don't have a programming background, but most of the newer teachers have been immersed in a programming environments.

Which for the most part covers most middle schools/high schools at the time being. (My school range currently, and yours as well for the most part.) :P

You'd be suprised. My old math teacher had quite a few C books on her desk, and she'd been teaching at that school for 30+ years.

Miss-quote? She probably went back to college to get more updated with the world, I haven't had a math teacher yet who knows even what Bill Gates did to get his money.

Sidoh

Sorry to say then, but your school sucks.  :\

Most of my teachers are pretty old, but all of them know what C++ is and at least what it's used to do.  One of them (my former life science / current Calculus/Physics teacher) programs in it fluently.
