Pretty crazy that we're closer to 2030, than we are 2005. Where did the time go!

Rofl.

Story behind this:

Link to this kids myspace was posted on myg0t forums, someone made a ytmnd about it, and I think it's funny as all hell. How about you?

I feel happy as pie, a-ha!
Living in the sunlight, loving in the moonlight,
    Having a wonderful time.

And like a fool I believed myself, and thought I was somebody else...

I don't get what it is with YTMND. All I see is a repetive picture and renderer-slaying font. I haven't laughed at a single one.

You might be right about that, Joe.

Its because your 56k doesn't allow you to hear the sound. :)

Oh. No, that'd be my lack of quicktime plugin =p

Actually, the methodology they use to display the single-point perspective text is completely valid as far as I know.  It's just Javascript writing sizes and positions of text.  Sure, absolute positioning is disgusting, but I think it's acceptable in this case.

If you haven't laughed at a single YTMND, I don't think you're human.  Some of the funniest things I've seen on the 'net are off of YTMND.

You don't need Quicktime to play MP3's.  :\

igimo1

You do if you're using Firefox.

Yep. And whenever I install the quicktime plugin Firefox never realizes I've done so, I'll sometimes open it up in IE if I care. I generally don't. I agree, I very very rarely (maybe like, once?) see anything funny coming from that site.

That one was retaded. It was about a kid killing himself or something and then they critque his spelling? Come on.

The kid killed himself over an ugly girl. What makes it even more funny than it already is, is the fact that he announced his suicide on myspace like this:

Good riddance, if you commit suicide it's pretty obvious you had no respect for life in the first place. I feel nothing for this idiot, I do, however, feel for the people he's selfishly hurt by killing himself.

Fucking morons.

Don't you want to send his family money, and start a suicide-prevention group, and do all the other things libs like to do? :P

But seriously! Now that I know what "ytmnd" stands for, I see the humor somewhat - or, at the very least, understand it.
