My grindcore adventure
« on: July 11, 2006, 01:09:17 pm »
Ok, since iago listens to it & he posts about this here, I will too.

http://www.myspace.com/jesuswasasquatter
The band name looks to be "What The Hell"...which is very fitting.
wtf, why would you ever want to hear that?
gayerthanaids is my favorite of that band, but it isnt the random noise that I like, just the song name...there is absolutely NOTHING musical going on.

For me, Rage Against the Machine is where the rock music is at.

Why don't you go listen to some Terrorizer, Napalm Death, or hell, even Pig Destroyer, and then tell me you don't like grindcore. ;)

Maybe some Carcass or Impetigo or some Lord Gore for some goregrind action? :o

I'd bet that you're currently bloated like a water ballon on a hot summer's day.

That analogy doesn't even make sense.  Why would a water balloon be especially bloated on a hot summer's day? For your sake, I hope there wasn't too much logic testing on your LSAT.

Napalm Death sounds more like death metal (or what I would call death metal), same with Terrorizer except less death.

Pig Destroyer sounds like grindcore...I guess, it sounds like crap so I guess thats right.

Although that band sounds like nothing I've ever heard, it has a cool sound.  There's far less energy in it than other stuff, though, it sounds like the guy is just sitting around trying to make noise.  The main thing I like about grind is the energy!  That's why it's so cool to see it live :).  It's gotta be fast and loud!

Now if you want to hear my favorite grindcore (or, as they label themselves, deathcore) band, check out Fuck!...I'm Dead.  The thingy doesn't have my favoriter songs on, but you can still get an idea.

My opinion is that *core is crap, except for polkacore which my friend and I have decided to start.  There are 4 of us that play clarinet, & jokingly we said we should start a polka grindcore kinda thing
