Joe

Quote from: Sidoh on May 15, 2007, 02:25:45 AM
Such hateful music you're listening to, Joe!  Is that what Jesus would put on his iPod? :(

I think he's actually screaming "GO TO HELL!" at himself, realizing what he's done. The rest of the lyrics speak about how he think's he's a moron for not realizing earlier (ie, before he died). But no, I'm pretty sure Jesus doesn't listen to this.

Lmfao!  I am pretty sure he does! :P
The once grove of splendor,
Aforetime crowned by lilac and lily,
Lay now forevermore slender;
And all winds that liven
Silhouette a lone existence;
A leafless oak grasping at eternity.

Joe

When a man lies, he murders a part of the world
These are the pale deaths that men miscall their lives
All this I cannot bear to witness any longer
Cannot the Kingdom of Salvation take me home?

Ironically, Cliff Burton died soon after writing these lyrics in a freak tour bus accident (hitting an ice patch and flipping over in September). Coincidence?

Which leads to the next lyric snippet: Municipal Waste - Black Ice

On the lonesome high way the roadways are slick
The temperatures dropping the fog is to thick
The chill in the air mixed with old in the lane
Its natures creation to cause your great pain
Black Ice! Your gonna wreck
Black Ice! Dont lose control
Black Ice! Youll break your neck
So on your next journey just heed my advice
That shit killed Cliff Burton Beware of Black Ice!

Joe

QuoteYou should run away, when you see me play
I'm the source of all destruction
Veins that pump with fear, you better not get near
All I do is wreck constructions

Come near me and you'll see: You should run from me
I'm dedicated to destroying me and you

Keep running faster, away from the master
It all breaks faster when you're near the
Master.. Of Disaster!

Master of disaster is tangled in strings
Tripping over stuff and smashing up things
I watch too much Jackass, see what that brings
All around me, I hear people scream.. Master.. of Disaster!
All around me, I hear people scream.. Master.. of Disaster!

Jackassing away, always goes astray
It's the start of a new era
Lose monopoly, leads to misery
Intoxication makes things weirder

Come near me and you'll see: You should run from me
I'm dedicated to destroying me and you

Keep running faster, away from the master
It all breaks faster when you're near the
Master.. Of Disaster!

Master of disaster is tangled in strings
Tripping over stuff and smashing up things
I watch too much Jackass, see what that brings
All around me, I hear people scream.. Master.. of Disaster!
All around me, I hear people scream.. Master.. of Disaster!

Master.. of Disaster.. What the hell is it I'm after?
Master.. of Disaster.. Fire fills the skies!
Laughter.. laughter.. Every time I just start laughter
Laughter.. laughter.. As a pain disguise!!

Nothing's worth all that, destroying habitat
Wrecking all without a reason
Annihilating gaze, numbering your days
All creation's out of season

I will make you cry.. I will make you die..
I will hurt you too.. Nothing I can do!

Keep running faster, away from the master
It all breaks faster when you're near the
Master.. Of Disaster!

Master of disaster is tangled in strings
Tripping over stuff and smashing up things
I watch too much Jackass, see what that brings
All around me, I hear people scream.. Master.. of Disaster!
All around me, I hear people scream.. Master.. of Disaster!
Master.. of Disaster!
Master..... of Disaster!!
Muahahaha!

Woah, anyone else have any new lyrics?

QuoteExcuse me sir
I'm lost
I'm looking for a place
where I can get lost
I'm looking for a home
For my malfunctioning being
I'm looking for the mechanical music museum

[...]

Excuse me miss
I'm a dog on heat
I'm a complicated being
With love songs to eat
I'm a poor, starving baby
who can march all night
I'm a mechanical music man
And I'm
Starting a fire

[...]

Excuse me child
I am trying to see
all the colours of wonder your brightness can be
return to nothingness enjoy
just might be right
but prepare yourself
for a mechanical fright

[...]

Excuse me son I'm found
I'm looking for a place
where I was once found
There's nothing in a world
where the melody is broken
There's always some way
to make a silence be spoken
Artist: Hot Chip
Song: The Warning
The once grove of splendor,
Aforetime crowned by lilac and lily,
Lay now forevermore slender;
And all winds that liven
Silhouette a lone existence;
A leafless oak grasping at eternity.

QuoteLove, love is a verb
Love is a doing word
Fearless on my breath
Gentle impulsion
Shakes me makes me lighter
Fearless on my breath

Teardrop on the fire
Fearless on my breath

Nine night of matter
Black flowers blossom
Fearless on my breath
The writ of the founders must endure.

Lol. Do you like that word?

I like instrumental songs, usually. And that happens to be among the more epic of them.

Blind Guardian - Otherland
Quote
They rule the land
They are in command
They hold all strings in hand
They are invisible
Out of sight
They've designed
A secret place
To play their games
A world they're in control
Divine law
Divine law

The song is all right the whole way through, but the beginning is awesome.
errr... something like that...
