School!
« on: September 04, 2006, 10:26:18 pm »
As is customary around here, my school trials and tribulations get discussed in a wonderful topic! School starts tomorrow morning, and the trials I will face are:

1. English
2. History
3. Scienza
4. English
5. Espanol
6. Social Studies
7. How to not drive like Newby

Wish me luck. I especially look forward to hours 3, 5, and 7. 1, 4 and 6 will easily double as study halls because unfortunately they stuck me in the SPED classes for having ADHD (assholes). 2 should be a pain, but oh well.
I'd personally do as Joe suggests

You might be right about that, Joe.

7. How to not drive like Newby

Smooth move, jackass.  Grow some balls and let him reply.

You locked it, and I grudgingly respected that wish.

Anyway, this class, #7, is it how to drive like absolute shit?

I'd bet that you're currently bloated like a water ballon on a hot summer's day.

That analogy doesn't even make sense.  Why would a water balloon be especially bloated on a hot summer's day? For your sake, I hope there wasn't too much logic testing on your LSAT.

Yeah, as far as I know, Newby's a perfectly capable drive. I mean shit, he backed down my driveway. And didn't die. Very, very few people can pull that one off.

History is balls.  That's the exact reason I didn't take it senior year ^^

Nah. How not to get arrested.

I have this 'tarded tree in the middle of my driveway (literally) and still made it out ok before. The only time I've nearly hit something was doing a 180-degree turn in the neighbor's driveway (garage sale) and turning in to another neighbor's driveway (their dad nearly hit the same tree on their way out so I don't count it too bad).

History is [required] [...]

Fixed. :'(

Yeah.. Driving isn't hard. -.-;
The once grove of splendor,
Aforetime crowned by lilac and lily,
Lay now forevermore slender;
And all winds that liven
Silhouette a lone existence;
A leafless oak grasping at eternity.

It is when you know if the law sees you then you won't be driving until your 18. :). I've done all those stunts without a license. Anyhow, I get my permit in around 4-5 weeks.

Alright, I forgot this in the last post, so here it is -- rundown of the day:

English. Boring. I've got the sped teacher so it's easy, he's devoting his attention to the other idiots in there. Basically, I've got five packets to do, and when I'm done, done. Half a credit, then study hall. History. Haven't found much out yet except it's rather laid back, although we're in a semi-small room (25 kids in a room built for 20, or something). No homework, but a lot of classwork. Science! Fun, I know everything already, because I took the class last year (and knew everything already anyhow). I sit next to Tory's little brother, LOL. English, as above. Espanol.. uh.. como te amas.. soy Joe!.. mucho gusta.. *shake hands*. Drivers ed.. not much to say.

Yay, I needed to slop a huge post into a paragraph for once.

The most daring thing I've done without my licence (which I still don't have, by the way :P) is drive one of my parents' vehicles accross town by my dad's orders.  He got home from work and asked me to go pick it up at the auto shop.

If you fuck up backing out of his driveway, your car = tipped over.

I live in a "rural community" that's like one road that forms a circle (actually like a lowercase delta) with a few roads sticking out, ending in cul du sacs (MapQuest it, Buckhorn Rd, Reedsburg WI 53959). I've never left the development, myself driving.

According to my teacher, they'd either shake my hand or kiss me, and I fear the latter.
