My laptop battery is pretty lame, thinkin of a new one, what do I get?

My battery lasts about 1.5 hours? while surfing the net, it is beyond lame.  Ought I get a new one & if so, what?

Is your brightness down?  And, does your CPU support scaling? (I have no idea you'd find out, but I know that Intel Centrino's do, they run slower on battery).
