"Carpe DM" is my new signature. It's funny. Discuss.

It came very, very close to replacing the text under my avatar. Very close.

I'm guessing Carpe is some other language for "seize?"

thats what DM is?... ::)

I knew it was some play off of carpe diem, but ::)
oh my

iago

Yeah, between you all you hit both points.

Carpe Diem is pronounced exactly the same, and means "seize the day", which can also mean "Seize the DM".

So it's a pun, and a funny line at the same time. :)

Chavo

NICE! I like it.  I'd love it if I liked D&D :P

I guess I'm not too surprised, but I've heard it a lot myself. (Though, I prefer "Carpe Noctum", since who cares about the day? ;) ) And, I believe it's Latin?

What part is strong, the part where I thought the line was funny or the part where I said it's a pun?

...the part where you flexed your guns ;)!

...the opinion part.  I disagree that it was funny.
...it's dead now :(

Yea, it's latin. Stupid teacher drilled that damn phrase into my head.
One must ask oneself: "do I will trolling to become a universal law?" And then when one realizes "yes, I do will it to be such," one feels completely justified.
