General Discussion / Re: Frozen zombies?

This is the most recent thread about zombies, so I am using it to say that the new zombie show on AMC or one of those channels no one ever watches is pretty awesome. Way better than anything I ever expected to show up as a TV show. The show is The Walking Dead for anyone that hasn't seen it.

It's understandable if your job is with computers.

But of course deadly's isn't. His job is the classes he attends and the social life he skips out on. But because he doesn't do his job (he skips out on the social life) he fills his day with hours and hours of human-machine love.
your hatred towards robosexuals is disgusting

the parts where it was just guitar were cool, but I kept falling asleep in between when there was singing and armin was taking a nap or something.

Gateway, dell.  My friends have had HP, Asus, gateway, dell, etc... and they are most of the time less reliable than my mac.

My girlfriend has had a MB for 4 years and the only problems with it haven't really been the machine's fault.  Spilled drink on the keyboard, etc.

I'm sure there are PCs that fair as well, but in my experience, they're farer and fewer between.
My family has laptops from dell, gateway, and acer. The only problems that I've seen with any of them have been caused by user stupidity. Maybe we're just lucky, but I think most people just treat their laptops very very poorly. The only problem with my old dell is that the power connector has been loose ever since I knocked it a couple feet off a counter onto a hard floor :(. The magnetic power connector thing is one of my favorite things about macbooks (that seems to be a fairly common point of failure) but it's really not worth an extra $1000.

So I've been looking at prices for a new laptop to replace my aging dell. Why do people keep telling me I can get a similarly configured macbook around the same price as anything else? The closest I mac I could find to something cheap and powerful like this was about $2000. For that much I could buy two in case anything breaks and still have enough money leftover for hookers and blow.

I'm going to kidnap every child who rings my doorbell and use them to make some sort of delicious stew.

Does anyone else REALLY hate websites with text on a white background? Maybe it's just because my new monitor is way brighter than my old one (even with brightness turned all the way down) but that shit is really uncomfortable for extended reading.

I finally bought a second monitor for dual-monitor goodness. I didn't realize how tiny a 25.5" monitor would make my old 20" look!

In fact, the people who come out seem worse off than when they went in, and *more* likely to commit a violent crime or hurt people. That's an epic failure of the prison system, IMO.

Why leave a good thing? They get fed, they get exercise, they get a nice little home... when they're back on the streets, what do they do? Go right back to comfort.
newby, you're stupid sometimes

Today I got a copy of "Black Enterprise" magazine in the mail addressed to me. I'm not sure if it was a joke or some kind of incredible targeted advertising fail.

That's a misconception perpetrated by Return of the Living Dead, which was NOT made by a respectable film maker.
Return of the living dead was great, and you're a jerk.

Absolutely. While the freezing process may cause some damage to the brain as any remaining juices solidify, it would hardly be the kind of catastrophic damage necessary to completely disable the walking dead.

Yes. Why is my world of warcraft account more secure than my bank account? :(

You know, when trying to explain the backstory to somebody, I feel like a jerk. This feels like the kind of thing that shouldn't be funny :-/
Did you watch the actual video of the kid talking? If that isn't hilarious I don't know what is
