Pretty crazy that we're closer to 2030, than we are 2005. Where did the time go!

I can't possibly fathom how you could even approach justifying that conclusion.

One must ask oneself: "do I will trolling to become a universal law?" And then when one realizes "yes, I do will it to be such," one feels completely justified.

To be honest, I'm not surprised.  The most noteworthy contrast was easily the thing that impressed me the most, but it's something that I would expect the average person to dislike.  Movies like Ironman pretty clearly appeal to those who find vindictiveness acceptable and appropriate.  At least in this movie, Batman was outstandingly noble.  He was much more than badass that ran around killing the bad guy.  He had an iron-clad set of morals that he didn't stray from even in his weakest moments.  To see a film portray a character with these qualities deeply impressed me.

Overall, this movie is easily one of my favorites now.  Even if you're not looking for a movie that has a meaningful and serious moral hiding not very deep beneath the surface, you should still see it.

On the note of Ironman, does anyone thing the president of real-life Stark Industries has another, more Tony Stark-like persona?  Judging from this picture, I'd have to say so.  Look at this party animal:

There's a difference between killing someone with the intended malice of killing them and killing them accidentally. I think we can all agree that Batman's modus operandi is the latter than the former if such a situation would arise. He tackled Harvey to get the kid, but he ended up having to hit harder than necessary, knocking everybody off the ledge.
One thing I don't get though.. the second time I saw the movie, I noticed that Dent has his back turned to Gordon for a LONG time. Why not just shoot him at that time? An experienced marksman like Gordon would one-shot KO him with no threat to the family.

I'd bet that you're currently bloated like a water ballon on a hot summer's day.

That analogy doesn't even make sense.  Why would a water balloon be especially bloated on a hot summer's day? For your sake, I hope there wasn't too much logic testing on your LSAT.
