uhm, I have a REALLY good friend in reserves (boot camp right now) & a few acquaintances in navy, marines, airforce...

I'm related to 2, and I'm friends with 3, and another friend of mine just got back from 6 years in Iraq in the fall.

My cousin was a tank driver in Iraq up until october.  I think he's going back soon though.

I was just curious because it seems like a lot of my classmates this year are joining the military, whereas a few years ago, only a few people that I knew were. I wanted to know if it was a pretty redundant trait, or if it was just my area of the world. :P
