I haven't had Absinthe, but I read the Tucker Max story about it. 151 was good, but I had been doing flaming dr. peppers alternating with beer and then a guy decided to do a shot straight with me and it ruined my night basically.

You should definitely try and order a bottle. King of Spirits Gold! I had this AbinstheX stuff, and you could pretty much feel one sip burn all the way through your digestive tract, hence the whole mouthwash-like thing.

But yeah, I can see how 151 would send you over after alternating. I usually don't like switching off between beer and hard liquor, either. Hard liquor is more of my preference
