My adviser told me my schedule was too hard with chemistry, so she made me take it out and replace it with psychology. All in all, though, I'm really content.
Your adviser's a retard. Ignore her and register for chem instead of psych anyways. You'll enjoy it a LOT more.

It's hard to objectively give advice on which courses are "easy" and which are not.  Some courses are easy to pretty much everyone.  Others, like psychology, would highly depend on your strengths and interests.  I think a person at random would be more likely to find a first year psych course much easier than say, a 2nd year math course, but for me it would be the opposite.  The psych course would take a lot of memorization, and practice answering a lot of these silly multiple choice questions quickly and under pressure.  The math course, on the other hand, would only require a fundamental understanding of a few concepts -- it would hardly seem like work at all.

So if you know you are good at chemistry, and you enjoy the subject, I wouldn't choose psych in preference.

Newby, you do know that Municipal Waste is playing in Pheonix on Tuesday, amirite?

I know.. I'm making a general comment, which mildly supports your suggestion, and explains the counselor's attitude.  She's probably choosing the course she would find easier.

Newby, you should fight your parents about euthanizing your cat, and try to find an adoptive family if they won't find anyone who would keep him (or her).

So after we did a crapload of work on an assignment today, 3 of us went over to Harry's (one of the other two guys I was with).  Harry has an awesome apartment (951 sq ft) in the middle of the city on the 15th floor of a complex.  There's a giant storm system (mostly thunderstorms) coming up the east coast.  For about an hour the 3 of us sat back with beer and caramel corn and just watched the awesomeness of the storm.  It was awesome.

Newby

My brother is heavily pushing for the cat to be adopted by a friend. I'll keep you updated.

Back home in AZ. Will update later!

I'd bet that you're currently bloated like a water ballon on a hot summer's day.

That analogy doesn't even make sense.  Why would a water balloon be especially bloated on a hot summer's day? For your sake, I hope there wasn't too much logic testing on your LSAT.

On a side note, Harry said he'd sponsor me and two of my friends for an apartment, which would be badass.

In Dallas.  Left 6am this morning, arrived 7pm, so 12 hr drive (time change).  Saw a castle a dude mentioned (JWool) Should've been like 10ish, but got lost in Dallas since my directions told me to take an exit that was closed for construction.  We drove around a lot.  Saw some F'ING gorgeous houses near SMU off Central Expressway.

Tomorrow mornin' is downtown Dallas, and strolling SMU campus.

Chili's for lunch in Burleson tomorrow should be awesome, then down to Waco.  Baylor that afternoon, George's for dinner.  Who knows what that night.

Then Austin on Friday.

Saw more of SMU, rich.

Had lunch with a with a couple dudes from my F150 site, pretty cool to meet 'em!

In Waco now, checked out Baylor's campus ... nice!  Their law school is pretty nice, no one around, they took finals today and all.  Couldnt find Dr Pepper museum, will try later.  Dinner at George's
