I think this is the most snow I've seen, with the exception of going skiing.

at 7:30am, 8.8" here. And the heaviest snow is coming from 8am-6pm. We could be getting 2 feet by tonight when my flight leaves... lol. I'm screwed

I don't know why I like snow so much...this is a lot of snow and I walked about a mile and a half in it last night, not the easiest stroll ever. But still, it's nice. I'm in the mountains and the towns pretty much empty since we're on break. It's silent but calm, the air is crisp and fresh, and it stays light all night.

Well... one flight canceled. Good thing I have two booked? I'm going to bet that #2 gets canceled shortly

It looks like the storm has shifted directions some so now instead of being in the middle we're just catching the bottom part. They've changed the prediction to only 1-3 more inches of scattered snow throughout the day, and sun tomorrow. Originally it was going to snow non-stop until tomorrow afternoon. In either case I plan to get out in it today. It sucks walking in it though.
