I need to convince GF (she owns the house) to section off the yard, till it under, and seed half of it. Then do the same for the other half next year (or whenever).

Sigh... I'm going crazy waiting for the recruiter to contact me to let me know whether or I'm still in consideration after Friday's phone interview.  If I didn't noob up the interview and I'm still in consideration, I understand that it may take some time if there's still more applicants in the pool awaiting evaluation... but it'd be nice to at least know how long I can expect to wait.   I was told that they were looking to fill the positions ASAP- whatever that means.  I guess I'll give it two business days and then e-mail with an inquiry into the status.

Dude, these guys are processing lots of applicants for tons of positions at once. Give them a break -- they won't forget about you. I'd say give it at least a full week before bothering them; doing so before that will probably only hurt your chances.

Really -- don't worry about it. If this doesn't work out, you have tons of opportunities elsewhere. Just relax and enjoy some vidja games, booze, fine ladies, sexy men-folk... whatever floats your boat :D

Different recruiter is taking care of second part of interview process it seems, so it's a good thing I didn't email the first one inquiring about the status.   Sidoh, what would I do without you? /rhetorical

Hitmen

Supposedly Verizon is increasing at least the downstream portion for most fios subscribers in a couple weeks. Going to go from 35/35 to 75/35. This makes me happy. Give me all of the bits! ALL OF THEM!

I'd bet that you're currently bloated like a water ballon on a hot summer's day.

That analogy doesn't even make sense.  Why would a water balloon be especially bloated on a hot summer's day? For your sake, I hope there wasn't too much logic testing on your LSAT.

Still personally valued at over a billion. I also ran into Marissa Meyer in the cafeteria yesterday. She's tall and not that attractive. But good for her, I'd take a $100 million payday if I got the chance too.

I'm definitely having to learn time optimization skills with this puppy... I can't do anything for more than an hour at a time except go to work and *sometimes* sleep.

puppy time = the best time of any time.
