That FreeBSD installer is evil. It tried to make me download a ton of stuff. I downloaded the base package, which was 60MB, and then it started downloading doc, which was when I said "screw it" and put my Ubuntu disk in.

That said, at the risk of double-posting a third time in this topic, hello from Linux.

I'm actually prefering debian-based right now, for the sheer convience of apt.

Yeah, I know Slackware is pretty sweet, I've used it before.
