I just got back from seeing this with five other lifeguards. Funny and interesting. IMDB describes it best:

QuoteAn IRS auditor suddenly finds himself the subject of narration only he can hear: narration that begins to affect his entire life, from his work, to his love-interest, to his death.

It wasn't quite as funny as I'd have liked, but it wasn't dominatly a comedy, IMO. I don't know what to rate it, so I suggest you go watch it and rate it yourself! :).

You might be right about that, Joe.

I saw it this past weekend. I found it to be a truely unique movie, something the is harder and harder to come across. A few parts were funny but overall it was an interesting movie.

Not a comedy, unique, Will Ferrel?...What?

I'll have to see it, AFTER Casino Royale

Miamiandy

It has some funny parts but I wouldn't put it in the same class as other comedies I've seen. It is uniqure in that it is a movie based of a truly distinct and original idea. It isn't based of any other idea or so it seems. Most movies nowadays are at least somewhat related to other movies. Most action movies follow same general outline in their plots, etc.

That about sums it up.

Joe

I'll probably see Casino Royale, too. Probably with Ben from school, though.

Casino Royale sounds nice. It is going to have a new Bond though. Short and Blonde.

looks like ill probably be seeing this friday night, before casino royale  (friends not diggin Bond)

Ive heard that this new Bond plays it nicely & that its a better one than the last few

Miamiandy

We'll see how good a Bond he is I guess. I just realized too, the James Bond series has been around for a hell of a long time. 1952 is when it was first created. 54 years ago.

P.S. This is just slightly off topic for the topic title.

I saw this today after work (saw Bond before work) at the 10:10 showing. I thought it was boring and I didn't really see the point in the movie. Granted, I was exhausted and I think I fell asleep for part of the movie and could barely keep my eyes open. I think Will Ferrel needs to stick to comedy and casting directors shouldn't cast leading ladies with hideous tattoos.
