You aren't showing her your feelings.  Communicating your feelings via mature conversation would be healthy, attempting to get someone else to experience the same feelings you feel is an attempt at reciprocation.  Reciprocation of a negative feeling/action/etc is revenge.

To be honest, I think you're in a state of infatuation. When you're in a relationship, the idea isn't to make the other person your entire life, but rather, a part of it.

Use this time to re-evaluate the circumstances. I've seen plenty of couples who claimed to be madly in love with each other, but after so-and-so amount of time, a change of heart took place. I don't see this scenario as being anything different.
