Man I wish I saw this discussion. About driving clutch, easiest way to catch the clutch is to just feather the gas between like, 1500-2500 and slowly let out the clutch and you wont stutter it. About the JDM shit-talking, I wanna see a mustang or any other "muscle" car run under a 13 in the quarter mile and still get good gas mileage. It's not gonna happen.

The new stangs are supposed to hit 13.6 ish in the 1/4 & get like 20? mpg city
...if you drop some weight, change the exhaust & intake & maybe retune it you SHOULD accelerate quicker & get BETTER mpg

Holy crap.  The most gas I've ever put in my car was 16.8 gallons, and that was below the line.

Until today.

I'd driven back from Flagstaff (~170 miles), was still running on the same gas when I got it to the gas station this morning.  17.2 gallons.
